On May 28, the Ceremony of the Launch of Sinotruk Bonded Logistics as well as the Delivery of 1,500 Units of Heavy Duty Truck Exported to Africa was seriously held in Jinan Export Processing Zone. Deputy governor of Jinan Municipality Qi Jianzhong, director of the Administration Committee of Jinan High Tech Development Zone Su Shuwei, chairman and CPC Committee secretary of Sinotruk Group Ma Chunji and president of Sinotruk Group Cai Dong etc. participated in the Ceremony. On behalf of Jinan Municipal Party Committee and Jinan Municipal Government, Qi Jianzhong warmly congratulated the launch of Sinotruk Bonded Logistics business and the delivery of 1,500 units of heavy duty truck exported to Africa, he hoped that Sinotruk further accelerate the internationalization process by the virtue of this opportunity and realize greater development, making active contributions to economy and society of Jinan City. Chief of Jinan customs Liu Weiwei, deputy director of the Administration Committee of Jinan High Tech Development Zone Lv Jiantao and vice president of Sinotruk Group Liu Wei successively gave speech to the Ceremony. Then, the fleet of HOWO covered with colorful ribbons left Jinan Export Processing Zone in line. Sinotruk Group is the backbone of export-oriented economy of Jinan City. In 2010, Sinotruk (Hong Kong) International Investment Limited to registered and established Sinotruk Group Jinan Ganghao Bonded Logistics Co., Ltd in Jinan Export Processing Zone with an investment of 160 million US dollars. Since the launching of bonded logistics business for machinery in October, 2011, the bonded value of machinery has reached to 1500 million US dollars, occupying 78.7% of the total bonded value of Jinan Export Processing Zone. The launch of bonded logistics business for entire heavy duty truck is the crucial step of the process of the promotion of the transformation and upgrade of processing trade of Jinan City, which has important significance on the improvement of the operation performance level of Jinan Export Processing Zone and the earlier integration and establishment of Jinan Comprehensive Bonded Area. The bonded logistics business of Sinotruk will fully utilize the advantages of traffic, environment, policy and function in Jinan Export Processing Zone to forge Jinan Export Processing Zone into domestic heavy duty truck entire vehicle and spare parts & components export base through the development of R & D of automotive, inspection and detection, inquiry and businesses such as automotive trade, logistics and finance. It is predicted that the total investment of this item of bonded logistics business will reach 4.7 million US dollars, with annual bonded logistics import-export volume of 1 billion after the construction totally accomplished. At present, the entire import business of Sinotruk has entered the Area. The Group also established relative business processes and systems such as programming, manufacture, export, logistics, packing, customs declaration and financial settlement etc. in the aspect of the export of entire vehicle and KD parts, possessing all conditions of launching bonded logistics business for heavy duty truck in Jinan Export Processing Zone under the support of Jinan Customs, Jinan Commodity Inspection and Jinan Export Processing Zone. Jinan Export Processing Zone is a state-level export processing zone established in March, 2003 under the approval of State Council, which was put into operation in August, 2005 after the joint acceptance by 9 ministries and committees of the State. Jinan Export Processing Zone actively promotes the working thoughts of “improve soft environment for investment”, continuously reinforces the construction of its own carrier and actively builds various platforms to attract various medium and small projects. At present, various workshops of totally 120,000 square kilometers have been accomplished in the Zone, attracting decades of medium and small wholly foreign-owned and Sino-foreign joint ventures. Jinan Customs specially tailored convenient clearance modes for Sinotruk such as straight through and respectively delivery and concentrative declaration etc. The major clearance service measurements promoted by Jinan Customs are as follows: first is to meet the individualized demands of the enterprise, ensuring the smooth shipment of the exported entire truck by means of chassis number verification of delivery within the Zone and chassis number verification on ship anchoring in port. Second is to launch the R & D of automatic container seal inspection system by means of advanced information system and the complete supervision equipments in special areas, which could annually save costs of customs transit and in-port concentration of 3.6 million Yuan. Third is to make the customs transit channel smooth by the virtue of coordinate other ports and customs such as Tianjin Customs and Shanghai Customs etc. Fourth is to simplify customs clearance process through concentrated declare and tax payment of cargoes of Sinotruk at enter and exit area. Fifth is to give priority to classified customs clearance to adopt the operation mode of “quick discharge with low risks” for cargoes after prejudication, pre-classification and pre-confirmation at place of origin, practically improving the effect of customs clearance. In recent years, Sinotruk has paid a high attention to internationalization strategy, and vigorously promoted the internationalization of technology, products, network and brand around the target of internationalized organization of the Company, solidly stepping out to develop overseas market, with continuous various new routes of internationalization strategy. From 2007 to 2010, the self-support export volume of Sinotruk reached to 51,000 units. Since the beginning of this year, the overseas market of Sinotruk has maintained good development momentum. In February, Sinotruk successfully hand in hand with the largest enterprise group in Africa, both sides signed a supply contract of 1,500 units of tractor, with a volume of more than 70 million US dollars, being the biggest single order within domestic heavy duty truck industry. From January to May, Sinotruk had received export orders of 12,000 units, increasing 110% compared with the same period of last year with an export delivery of more than 7,000 units, increasing 77.6% compared with the same period of last year, steadily possessing the first place within domestic heavy duty truck industry. |
